This year’s conference is in Fabulous Palm Springs, Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7!

Rachel Lasek is a Mathematics and French teacher at a rural, public high school in Northern California, with over ten years experience. She has taught a wide-range of mathematics courses ranging from Remedial Math to Honors Precalculus. Over the past two years, Rachel spearheaded a west-county wide collaboration, bringing 17 districts together to create mathematical coherence through grades 6-12. As a result of the series of workshops and meetings, the 17 partnering districts aligned curriculum, instruction and assessment with Common Core Mathematics Standards and Practices. Rachel is in the process of writing her school’s Integrated Mathematics Program, and in the second year of implementation. Rachel has served as Mathematics Department Lead for the past 8 years, Instructional Technology Coach, CSF Advisor, Safe School Ambassador Advisor, and is a LEC Certified Digital Educator.
