Professor of Mathematics/Author
Professor Hovsepian is a Senior National Mathematics Consultant to McGraw-Hill and an author of several of its mathematics programs including Glencoe’s Common Core 2014 Pre-Calculus program.

He holds an elementary teaching credential in Mathematics as well as secondary credentials in mathematics, chemistry, and physics. All work completed through the University of California at UCLA. He has been teaching for over 25 years.

Professor Hovsepian is the recipient of many prestigious awards including first place winner of the Jaime Escalante Mathematics Awards in teaching and was also selected as a member of the All-USA First Teacher Team in Mathematics and Science.

He is a member of NCTM and CMC-South and he is invited periodically to present “Math Is Fun” to both organizations.

Professor Hovsepian graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with Bachelors of Science Degree in Mathematics with minors in Physics and Chemistry. He received his Masters degree with doctoral work completed from Pepperdine University.
